I'd much rather work with profiles that don't adjust the sliders. I should have mentioned this in my post but I definitely prefer to find a solution that is profile as opposed to preset based for exactly the reason you noted. The advantage of them is that your sliders are not touched because it is a profile. I am not always a fan of working with presets, but RNI does have a few beautiful presets. I usually work with DNG files on my Q2 and have been purchasing the RNI All Films 5 Pro for a while now. Hi, I am in the same situation, I also shoot with the Leica Q2 and with Fuji and think these film styles from Fuji work very well indeed. I'm guessing I may have just offended Leica or Fuji purists. I'm wondering if anyone has come across Lightroom Presets that do a good job mimicking the look and feel of Classic Chrome and Classic Negative that can be applied to Leica DNG files? It won't be as easy as SOOC JPGs from Fuji, but if I nail exposure in camera, then I wouldn't have to do much else aside from applying a Preset to get that same film look. ![]() Therefore, I realize that I can't get the same look out of camera with the Q2 JPGs. However, it has much fewer adjustment options and for color, starts with the three basic film styles: standard, vivid and natural. I particularly like the Classic Chrome and Classic Negative film styles.Ĭlearly, Leica doesn't offer those film simulations and I know that in the Q2, I can choose one of five film styles and adjust contrast, sharpness and saturation. ![]() However, I've recently enjoyed shooting JPGs on my Fujis (with RAW backup) and have been tweaking film simulations in camera to get JPGs that I like SOOC. Until recently, I always shot RAW and edited photos in LR. I shoot with a Leica Q2 and Fuji X-T3 and X-Pro3 cameras. I'm posting this in the Leica and Fuji Forums.
